For your safety and ours, the Home Visit Service will only be available where the government tier system allows it. We ask for your understanding if appointments need to be rearranged or cancelled due to Coronavirus restrictions.
One of our knowledgeable staff will visit you in the comfort and privacy of your home to help you to choose a design, decide on an appropriate wording and answer any other questions you may have.
Any administration or correspondence with local authorities, cemeteries or church authorities is dealt with by Memorials of Distinction on your behalf – you will not have to worry about this aspect of the process either.
We will give you a detailed quote on the day and if you decide to go ahead you can pay a deposit to secure your order. If you would like more time to consider your decision then we will leave you with all the information you need. We will only contact you once to follow up so there is no need to worry about pushy sales calls or emails.
Note: Where government guidelines allow home visits, our Rep will wear a mask and we ask that you also do so. Where possible, consultations should take place outdoors, ie in the garden. Where this is not an option, we ask that seating is arranged in a way that social distancing can be observed. We also ask that the number of customers present at the meeting is kept to a minimum.
Open for Business
Our dedicated staff are here to answer your calls and emails, orders are being processed and we are able to fix memorials in most cemeteries.
According to government guidance, enquiries should be dealt with by phone or email where possible. If not, our Dunstable and London showrooms are open to visitors by appointment only. We will allow one family group at a time in the showroom (max 4 people).
Appropriate PPE will be worn, social distancing observed and hand sanitiser will be made available to customers.

If the particular shape or style of memorial you would like is not in our standard collection, we will be happy to work with you to create something bespoke. Whether it is just swapping one type of vase or statue for another or creating a whole new design, we have the expertise to guide you through it. Call or email us to discuss in more detail or use our Live Chat feature on the bottom right of your screen.
The ground requires time to settle after a burial so it is important to wait before installing your memorial. A headstone can usually be erected on a grave six months after the last burial has taken place but a period of 1 year is most common. If cremated remains are interred in a grave, a headstone may be fixed after 3-6 months, as the ground requires less settling time but this can vary. If you tell us which cemetery/crematorium your memorial will be installed in, we can find out the specific rules for you and advise accordingly.
I could not be more grateful for the team at Memorials of Distinction for all they have done for my family and I. Despite having to work through such a horrible time, they still managed to make a difficult process easier. I am particularly pleasure with the response times and our agents genuine kindness and patience when responding to my many emails! The headstone is absolutely beautiful and collectively I truly believe we have done Mum proud. So I thank you again Memorials of Distinction for providing such a beautiful memorial.

Good evening. I found Harvey’s headstone on Friday morning. I cried so many tears. But the headstone is absolutely amazing. I’m blown away by the details of the stars. It’s an absolutely outstanding tribute to my beautiful boy.
Well done to those who made it.
